Seaweed and Truffle Butter
February 26, 2020
| Recipe by Bake with Paws
I got inspired by my girlfriend who made her own blueberries and truffle butter. I remember I tried the seaweed butter before at a restaurant and it tasted very good. Since I have some Sushi Nori at home, I made this Seaweed and Truffle Butter to go with my sourdough bread that I just baked. I sprinkled some toasted sesame on top, it made it even more delicious.

Recipe - Seaweed and Truffle Butter
INGREDIENTS:
250g salted butter, room temperature
8g - 10g seaweed (I used 2 pieces of Sushi Nori)
Few drops of truffle oil
METHOD:
- Cut the seaweed into small pieces then blend in the food processor until crumb size pieces.
- In a medium bowl, mix all the ingredients together with silicon spatula.
- Transfer to a container. Put the butter back in the fridge to firm up slightly.
- Serve the seaweed butter with bread slices.
Note:
- Toast the seaweed in oven for 15 minutes at 180C before blending if the seaweed is not crispy.
- Add some salt if unsalted butter is used.
